Our company is in the business of purchasing and recycling secondary raw materials. As of the date of its establishment, 12 January 2018, Metali reciklaža d.o.o. has engaged in recycling secondary raw materials such as: waste iron, aluminum, copper, brass, lead, zinc, paper and other raw materials, and we have also recently entered into a contract with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund for the management of waste beverage packaging within the refund system.
Raw materials are purchased at a warehouse located in the Lonići Bibinje 48 Business Zone, Municipality of Bibinje, where we also have a registered Recycling Yard. All shares in the company are owned by Croatian nationals. Its commitment and adherence to circular economy (transforming waste into resources) principles allow the company to act in an environmentally responsible manner. The company holds all legally required operating licenses and uses the best technological and technical solutions available. It is also among the leading companies in the region and has been recognized as a reliable partner by the local community.
The company undertakes waste management activities relating to waste collection/separation and treatment of secondary raw materials, including the purchasing of secondary raw materials from individuals and businesses, thus allowing them to act in an environmentally responsible manner in each segment and to have such waste transformed into resources. The raw materials we purchase are then transferred to major corporate buyers. The company has no significant comparable rivals in its business segment, neither in terms of all the registered activities nor in terms of business volume.
